Oscar 2019 Award Nominations – The Favourite Tops Again

Early Tuesday morning, the Academy released a full list of nominations for best movie for several categories dubbed the Oscar 2019 nominations. Below is a list of the nominations, but before that, let’s get you a little summary.

The Favourite and Roma topped the nominations with 10 apiece with both movies nominated for Best Picture.

It was A Star is Born and Vice who had the second most features with eight apiece. The duo were closely followed by Marvel’s top grossing movie staged in Wakanda, Black Panther; BlacKkKlansman came in next with six and Boheman and Green Book all square with five

Recall that The Favourite also led the nominations for the BAFTA awards gaining an astounding twelve nods with Boheman Rhapsody, A Star is Born and Roma all tie for second place with seven nods. However, the awards won’t be handed out till the 10th of February.

The Oscar 2019 nominations took place once again at the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater with Tracee Ellis and Kumall Nanjiani playing hosts.
